About our Founder
I'm Khyati — illustrator, designer, and quiet observer of meaningful details.
With a foundation in fashion design and a lifelong love for visual storytelling, I create hand-illustrated wedding stationery that feels personal, intentional, and lasting. I’ve always been drawn to the symbolism in traditions, the beauty in cultural rituals, and the way design can hold emotion long after a moment has passed.
To me, a wedding invitation is not just paper - it is the beginning of a shared history. It is the first visual chapter of a couple’s story.
Each commission is approached with care and depth, translating memories, heritage, and personal aesthetics into refined artwork that can be preserved for years to come.
My Story
Dhaaga was born from a simple belief — that every love story is held together by threads.
Threads of memory.
Threads of tradition.
Threads of moments that quietly shape who we become.
With a background in fashion design and a deep reverence for cultural detail, I have always been drawn to what binds things together, the drape of fabric, the symbolism within rituals, the stories woven into celebrations. Illustration became my way of preserving those threads and transforming them into something lasting.
Dhaaga Studio was created to design wedding invitations that feel personal, intentional, and timeless. Not just announcements, but heirlooms. Each piece is thoughtfully illustrated and composed to reflect a couple’s journey — their heritage, their aesthetic, and the emotion behind their union.
Every design begins with listening. Listening to stories, to traditions, to the subtle details that matter most. From there, each illustration is carefully developed to create stationery that carries depth and meaning beyond the wedding day.
